If that is the case, then Israel's violations of human rights, and Israel's violations of international law, and Israel's violations of basic standards of human decency are our violations and our standards. I would not accept for one moment supporting any candidate for political office in the USA who would accept the proposition of granting carte blanche to Israel to define our standards of conduct, nor to shackle our young men and women in military service to die defending Israel with the same devotion as they are expected to show to defend the United States of America. The USA is not a subsidiary political unit of Israel. If that is what we have become, then we should do something about it ASAP.
