Peter, you might look at HNR. It's not a service company as such, and it operates mainly in Venezuela. Some political risk, but seems to be creating value by improving/expanding already known fields. I'm no oil expert, but cash flow looks pretty good to me. Conf call coming up on the 4th...

I have two that fill that bill, but they are both tiny - market cap under $50MM. NGS and OMNI, certainly not trading stocks. OMNI is oversold at present after a very strong run up to the end of last year.

I don't follow these stocks. I do have a friend that I think is a very good value investor. He likes HP.
