I am not sure if I understood you correctly or the intent of your post.

However, it seems to me you believe that the Arabs are the descendants of Ishmael, the bastard son of Abraham and his servant girl as stated in the Old Testament of the Bible,

and therefore the Arabs shalt not inherit the land and while they are supposed to understand this fact, they seem to be ignorant of what hath been ordained? Right?

(By the way, Arabs and Jews have very similar DNA, scientists found)

Maybe the Arabs have a self-persecution (hard-done-by-others) complex? Right?

IMHO, to get the big picture of how Arabs think and why they act the way they do, perhaps one will have to be familiar with the history of the Crusades, Ottoman Empire, arbitrary creation of Lebanon, Syria and Kuwait & etc2 by western powers, and western support for the creation of Israel, and the exploitation of Middle East oil, and of why OPEC was created by the Arabs, and US attempts to democratize and christianize Moslems.

By the way, I am neither an Arab nor a Moslem. Nor am I a pro-Moslem. But I certainly have been perceived to be anti-US. And, needless to say, for a lot of simpletons on SI, perceptions = reality and fact!

And because these folks always think they have the right answers to everything, posters like me should always feel ashamed of themselves for writing anything disagreeable to them. Sometimes they impress me as sounding very much like some grand old ladies. <VBG>

About 'Passion' - the New Movie

The new movie 'PASSION OF THE CHRIST', about the last 12 hours in the life of Jesus Christ, is a bold statement of faith from A-list star and Academy-Award winning director/producer Mel Gibson.

After years of following the Hollywood gravy train in making commercial movies with no meaning (Braveheart and The Patriot excluded), Mel has embraced God. And God has spoken through this new movie 'PASSION'. Christians, Catholics, Europeans, Asians, South Americans, Austrailians, Canadians, Africans, Americans, everybody is supporting this picture.

'PASSION' is shedding a bright beacon of light in a very cold and cruel industry. We NEED more movies that celebrate JESUS CHRIST. The Word says you cannot love this world and Jesus at the same time - it just won't work.

EVERY BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST IS SUPPORTING 'PASSION'. Congratulations again Mel on an incredible movie! But more importantly, congratulations for standing up for your beliefs in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

What You Can Do To Support 'PASSION'

1) Go to the Box Office in mighty numbers;
2) Declare a fast from all secular movies that do not glorify Jesus Christ;
3) Pray for Mel;
4) Pray for 'Passion';
5) Pray for this country;
6) Pray that the persecutors in the media who HATE this film with a 'passion' come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mel's Courage!

Mel Gibson is a Believer in Jesus Christ

NEW INFO ON GONE - THE MOTION PICTURE

We recommend another great Christian movie that is catching the nation by storm. 'GONE' - the Motion Picture.

Nominated in July 2003 for 'Best Christian Film of the Year' (2003) by Christian Beats Awards.

In this post-apocalyptic thriller, the Survivor cast star as tenacious, young lawyers who are sent to Manila to defend a multi-national corporation accused of spilling hazardous waste; but instead, meet their fate in the last days of the Earth. Chaos ensues when the Rapture strikes, causing the characters to size up the world, humanity, and finally God in this highly intelligent, critically acclaimed motion picture, GONE.

"GREAT, GREAT, GREAT movie. The special effects were better than I was expecting (and I had high expectations from the trailer). I liked the plot, the acting was very good and it really left me wanting more. Great ending too."
- ChristianBeats News

"A true reality film. 'GONE' is a film for anyone who wants to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ."
- Witchita Chronicle

"GONE raises difficult questions of faith but avoids cliche answers and predictable plot lines. Gripping from first to last."
-R. Dunn, Team Leader, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship

"One of the most powerful Christian films ever." -Synthetic Rhyme Records

"The movie is not preachy or artificial. This film is fast-paced and has a cutting edge style. The movie reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock film-
especially the twist ending, which is my favorite part of the movie. Chey does an excellent job at foreshadowing the storyline through symbols. He
cleverly disguises clues within the movie."
