How many of these alleged 13,641 Clinton draft dodging
stories were from 1992? How many of these were in major
media outlets?

Your source, who worked for Clinton, ran his search in
2001. His assertion that Clinton hits were 13,641 & Bush
hits were 49 is highly incredulous.

Today the the internet is huge. It was tiny in 1992. It
didn't take off until the late 1990's. Yes, there are a
lot of stories in cyberspace about Clinton's draft
dodging - a vast majority of them posted after his second
election in 1996.

However, we are talking about 1992, when coverage of this
story could have affected voters. That was only 12 years
ago. I watched the evening news almost every day & I
regularly read the news papers. I traveled a lot back
then, so I read many different newspapers from many
cities. Had I known then that Clinton lied repeatedly &
there was documentary evidence proving he lied, I never
would have voted for him.

I recall there was very little coverage to the story. When
it was covered, it was mostly to frame it as a Republican
smear campaign.

The salient point is that by 1996, Clinton's draft-dodging was no longer a story; his record as President was.
