Environmental racism can be defined as the intentional siting of hazardous waste sites. Interesting i guess you can gather statistics if you look for it... but what about buffalo canal. I think back in sixties, then in Ma.(W.R. Grace) we had a movie made off dumping and buried toxics in a town in suburbs of boston. I remember when it was popular to spread oil on dirt roads to hold down the dust. Salt all roads in winter and have it run into water table. Drum reconditioning plants one in new Hampshire, one in western Ma that dumped all the washing materials and costic acids in the ground and water system. In philadelphia during the eighties a drum reconditioning company or chemical company build full drums behind a false wall to hide all toxic full drums rather than pay to have them reprocessed. Lube plants , when you walked along the ground the earth would bubble up with sulphur and acids. In Pennsyl. we got more dumps sites than the rest of the country. I believe trucks come from ny, nj, ma.del. to dump their stuff. These sites are in the suburbs. I guess we could write a book on the other 50% of toxic sites that are not in race related areas.

Maybe included in race toxics sites are locations with lead paint still not cleaned up when a tenant sells a building or rents out a new apartment. this is law enforcement in that city or town not race. Same thing with asbestos.
