That is because he is a gentleman unlike some other individuals running for office in 2004. Yes, let's see his entire military record since it has become a prerequisite to becoming president......I want to see all of John Kerry's military record. Is that possible UF? He never to my recollection said or implied that Bill Clinton was unfit to hold office because he lacked military experience. Dole ran primarily on his long experience in the Senate. Whereas John Kerry....

The only coverage given to Bush's AWOL story was in the Globe and it was virtually ignored by the rest of the press, ergo he got a free ride. And Dole got plenty of mileage out of his military record....But by that time Clinton's story was old hat, having been covered ad nauseum in 92..... Now since Bush didn't get covered last time and he is running against a Viet Nam hero, we can see the result...and it's easy to see why the Bushies don't like it......
