Edwards is behind by something like 40%.
He is a good VP candidate but that's all for now.
root for him him in 2012.
the important ting is to beat Bush.
Kerry is ready for that mission.

Edwards as Dem nominee would attract voters who go to polls in largest numbers. Kerry votes comes from those who follow the herd. The weather on election day could very well influence the outcome more than ever. The moderates who support Edwards will most likely be forced to vote for Bush's re-election; while the current Kerry voters will simply stay home if it's a rainy day. Their commitment is not all that strong. That observation is repeated nightly by astute politicians & talk show hosts.
