Kerry does significanty better against Bush due to his very real war hero record and foreign counter-terror expertise. Edwards is also quite inexperienced and green. In 2012 though I see Edwards as the prez. he needs to be a little patient and play ball a la Bush Sr.

Indeed, Bush make turn Flip-Flop Kerry into mince meat. Did you know that in all of his
years in the Senate Kerry has never sponsored major legislation? Frankly, I'd call Kerry a
dilletante as opposed to a legislator. He's dallied into one inquiry only to rush off to
another one.

Edwards, by contrast, while new in the Senate is a smart man who doesn't have
a closet full of skeletons for Bush and Karl Rove to rake over.
