James, If your view on the second coming is "the dominant view in church history", how come are you Preterists in such a tiny, minority, position in Christianity? I guess all the other Christians on Earth are dumb, and only you, and brian are blessed enough to know the real story.

POPPYCOCK!!!

the dominant view in church history has been that this prophecy was fulfilled in 70 A.D., when the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem

That is a ridiculous and untrue statement. Through history the Christians have always been waiting for the return of Jesus. And you ever notice James that hey! He aint here yet! Look around!! Do you see Him and His Kingdom yet? Do you see His enemies under His feet yet? Do you see the lion lying down with the lamb yet? Nope. So wake up James. I estimate it will take you maybe 20 years to come out from the false doctrines you believe if you start today.

And I really don't have the time or energy to wrangle about words and participate in useless debates. I did bookmark the link you gave me for the day I have time to read it. As an example of another cult with a smattering of truth mixed with the ever present lies and deceptions that ensnare so many. But I can also say that about all the pre-trib books and web sites and teachers today. So don't be too insulted.
