My chronology on Iraq and WMD:

On Jan 28, 2003 Bush gave his SOTU. I was very concerned about the threat from nuclear weapons.

On Feb 6, 2003 Powell gave his presentation to the U.N. I was already starting to have doubts. When Bush / Powell mentioned a link between Iraq and al qaeda, that didn't make any sense.

By Mar 1, 2003 El Baradei had announced:
1) the documents provided by the U.S. were forged.
2) the aluminum tubes could not be used as centrifuges.
3) that Iraq did not have an ongoing nuclear program.

Meanwhile, newspaper accounts and Han Blix were systemically discrediting all of Powell's presentation.

Before the war, I knew that there were serious problems with Bush / Powell's evidence.

We invaded anyway. Those that blame Kerry were not paying attention. Why did we invade when we KNEW there were serious problems with the intelligence, BEFORE the war?
