Hi Gumnam, RMB a/c can be opened now, and your information is correct, however, I think Message 19813653 <<February 16th, 2004>>, and I conclude that when the RMB is 'adjusted', it may go up for a bit, but will almost certainly go down again, and in the mean time, all kinds of accidents can happen in China to cause sleepless nights and anxious days.
Chugs, Jay

P.S. I thought and still believe this Message 19849231 and so currencies will grind against currencies, until fine dust is left, along with repudiated paper.

The way I look at it, first Europeans and US try to stem the USD drop, using words as a weapon. Finally, the drop resumes, and the eyes will turn to China.

China wil NOT revalue the RMB leaving the impression that they were pressed by the US to do so. That's what I think may preempt RMB to be revalued.
