it will bring in money but maybe not the best action at this time. couldn"t it also slow down the economy at this time? I expect congress will not spend the money to increase programs. g

soc sec. do what needs to be done but do it! not run away from doing what you were sent to congress to do.

it's a fact that increasing taxes on the top 10% will bring in a lot of money,

We need to spend less money, not bring in more. Giving more money to congress is like giving more booze to a drunk.
