My question is whether you agree and what the israelis and or the US will do about iran, now that the true colors of that regime are obvious even to the europeans.

I read the same sources you do, mike. The Israeli war with Hizbullah has been due Real Soon Now for some time, yet it never quite materializes. It would require a Hizbullah provocation to set it off, and word is that Syria has just sense enough to set on Hizbullah to prevent it. As for Iran's true colors, they have been obvious for years to anybody who cared to notice. Iran pays Hizbullah $100 million a year; that ain't chicken feed. But Iran is a tough nut to crack. The people want the regime gone; and we want the regime gone, but neither seems to know how to manage it. We certainly have no stomach for a war, and the mullahs know it.

As for the Europeans, it is plain that they will notice nothing they don't care to notice.

Loftus predicted that the israelis would be at war with hizbollah in the spring.

Could be. Once the wall is set, Israel can go off defense to offense. I noted that Hizbollah is paying Israel Arabs to do the bombings. A way to get around the wall. Which will set off restrictions and inspections on them.
