This just in! Bush flipflops on taxes, agrees with Kerry?
Notice Bush lying to voters saying Kerry will raise their taxes (only tax cut rollbacks for the rich under Kerry) while caving in on his permanent tax cuts and telling congress they should only make SOME of them permanent. In other words, the tax cuts for the rich are going by bye, which means Bush now agrees with Kerry. LOL

Bush Lowers Bar for Congress on Extending Tax Cuts
By Adam Entous

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) told Congress on Thursday he would settle for making some of his tax cuts permanent, those set to expire next year, after fellow Republicans warned the rest of his plan may have to wait until after the November election.

Without mentioning Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry (news - web sites) by name, Bush derided his political rival for opposing the extension of his 2001 and 2003 tax cuts at a cost of around $1 trillion over the next decade.

"That's code word for 'I'm going to raise your taxes,"' Bush told workers at an expanding pipe-making company.
