John Kerry's stone-throwing won't fly with most veterans

John Kerry protested the Vietnam War by hanging out with the likes of Jane Fonda, leading protests, and throwing medals over a wall--bizarre activities for an officer with heroic combat under his belt. Apparently he thinks those old protests and the current trashing of the president's military service will wear well with the voting public, including veterans.

George Bush got himself through USAF pilot training and into an Air National Guard F-102 outfit--not an easy or totally safe route to military service.

Guard units are often the first into battle, the result of high levels of experience and readiness, a hallmark of our Air Guard.

John worked his way up to United States senator, while George made commander in chief. John now wants George's job. To have a shot at it, John will have to demonstrate sterling character, steely charisma, and the ability to be a dedicated leader--a champion for America.

George has already done that.
