...but Bush took a mile, in response.

If we cast our memories back to January of 2001, when the first Rate Cut was announced and AG signed on fully to the Bush Tax Cuts--it seems their separate goals were aligned.

But the obscene spending, over and above the tax cuts and the war, may have made AG pissed off. Everything in AG's record of course up until January of 2001 would suggest he is well aware of government's predilection to run amok with spending.

However, I remain baffled and confused as to how to interpret Greenspan now. I have actually considered tuning him out completely, and looking for my "signs" elsewhere...
