Would you be a reader of Zachariah Sitchen? One of the few living people who can read the languages of the old civilizations?

Then you said" You got to remember this faith or fable was pounded into people. Centuries of torturing and killing to make people believe the story."

I would point out nothing at all has changed, Stalin, MAO, POL POT, Kim, Saddam, all modern day Leaders who sold an agenda the hard way...that is torture killing etc....all to make the idea of communism.....palatable to those who survive the methodology.

LOL! This isn't the time or place, but some of the stuff i'm reading here espoused as common knowledge is borderline laughable! i don't mean that in a negative way particularly, but you're throwing a lot of stuff up against the wall here that's not going to stick if we were to take a close look. and, personally, i don't want to start it.

by the way, people who had an eyewitness account of jesus life and death were stoned, crucified upside down, executed, etc. as were many early christians. most folks don't die for something they would know personally to be a lie. of course, we would have to get into the historical proofs of the gospels and it's simply not worth it here.

Guess you would say that about all religions....?

You should be reminded of the Jungian Collective Unconscious and it's shared gift to all of us in the "Spiritus Sanctus."

A journey of faith is a lot more then the historical trend towards "imitatio Christi."
