my human side has betrayed me several times

It betrays me all the time. I keep waiting for my divine side to intervene, but the divine does not take kindly to speculation.

Seriously though, I think the key is picking great companies so time is on your side. If you like to trade them, you can trim when they are flush and buy when they are lean. If you like to keep score, look at your total portfolio in Yahoo and compare your daily take to the averages. But there's no need to swing for the fences when you can make good safe money day in and day out. While I am in advice mode (you asked for it), I would consider diversifying beyond tech. Believe it or not, there are other companies out there that are often quite attractive. It's not always healthiest to date only the most popular girls in the class. <g>

Good luck,
Sam
