And it's driving medical and healthcare insurance costs into the realm of the ridiculous for families still employed, mind you, right now ... soon, healthcare will cost more than housing.

And Greenspan suggests cutting Medicare?

LMAO! Anybody under the age of 65 right now is phucked ... as are those OVER age 65 as their CDs earn 1-3% interest.

Who ISN'T screwed?

Anyone who pays taxes got a tax cut. The big lie is that only the rich got one.

My friend who owns a big yacht company had a terrible year last year. This proves the rich just hoard the money when you give it to them. Those huge tax cuts created no jobs and no real prosperity, just stock market and real estate growth due to low interest rates, dividend tax cuts and deficit spending. Now both markets are big bubbles.

It's interesting that people ignore the admin's claim that the tax cuts would create 900,000 jobs. Instead, it's about one-third of that last time I saw the stats.

Just as people don't understand the concept of regressive and progressive taxation, they don't understand that corporations pay a much lower share of the overall taxes now than in decades past and that the very rich pay less of their money in taxes while the majority pay more.

It's PR over facts which is usually the case.

Unlike Republicans in the past, Bush cut taxes NOT to shrink the government but he cut taxes AND increased the size of government. I'm pretty sure that any calculator outside of the White House would say that will lead to a big deficit.
