Indeed, the Amercian media should realize that it became the very first casualty of the Bush Iraq Invasion. It appears, given the nature of what was reported and how what got reported was reported, that during the war's buildup the American media wanted to give Bush a more than fair shot at success.

As each day passes, the American media realizes, more and more, that it was duped in the beginning. Much as both Bush and Blair have looked bad by each new day revelation, so also has America's media shared in this image. Perhaps the mighty payback will come in how the press reports the next presidential election.
