Kerry served very harsh combat time.....he has no reason to apologize for that and should, in fact, receive a helluva lot of admiration. That compared to the rich son of a rich and powerful father who jumped the line in the ANG and spent the war politiking in Alabama when he was supposed to be keeping his flying skills sharp in the event of a callup. I and millions of others admire Kerry's stand against the war and he gained mucho credibility because he actually was a hero who served in it. His revelations about war crimes should have come as no surprise to anyone and if you want some eye witness descriptions, they are not hard to find.....let me know if you have trouble...they may open you r eyes and at the same time, make you puke. All wars have fostered what would normally be considered war crimes and our GI's are not excluded. I can recommend a few books to you if you like.

Jane Fonda was a very young activist who believed in what she and perhaps millions of others were doing to protest the war. BTW, what was you position on the that war???? Perhaps, because of her celebrity, she got more attention than anyone would normally have gotten, but at least she the guts to go out front. You will note that the protesters eventually accomplished their objectives and the world was better off for it. If you don't agree, perhaps you'll tell me what the war was all about.
