What? You think you'll make a blithering blathering liberal out of me? Dream on, fool. Maybe you missed an important historical turn that occurred about 1991: the USSR collapsed. Or, rather, it's economy collapsed, taking the country and the military with it. China, the other remaining major Communist power, then accelerated its march towards capitalism. The Chinese are richer now than they have been in the last century, I hear. Maybe there are reasons for this. I suggest you actually do some open-minded study and find them. To put the matter in Marxian terms, you are on the wrong side of history, not I. Even socialism is like sailing with your anchor dragging. Maybe youu missed this too, but over the last century, the US has seriously outperformed Europe most of the time. We maybe be in one of the anomalous patches now, but we'll be back, as Ahnie would say. Count on it. So, let's see, you cite an article about Britain to nail the US Republican Party. DUH!
