"The US is different country than Canada or Europe. We need a rapidly growing economy"

Do you believe that perpetual rapid growth is possible? If so, why wouldn't all nations employ the same strategy and enjoy perpetual rapid growth?

Wrong Bearcat. Many of us are for hard work, self reliance, entrepreneurship, equal opportunity, and tax breaks for small business (including Kerry).

It's the big, dominating, greedy, government purchasing, job outsourcing, ceo and board of directors backscratching, corporate welfare titans that we despise.

Not your father's democrats.

The gullible electorate is the one manipulated by 5-6 big conglomerates who control the mass media with self favoring soundbytes.

Who is it again leading us into this record deficit, money printing madness ?

bcb,
Yes, everyone knows that conservatives believe the biggest no-no in the world is to raise taxes. It has been drilled into Americans....cutting taxes creates jobs!!
O.K. Bush has cut taxes....twice...so, where are the jobs?

Colin Powell argued yesterday that the U.S. should spend billions to cure Aids in Africa. We can't keep Soc Sec commitments to our own citizens, but we should spend billions on Africa. When do Americans start benefitting from their own tax payments?
