Do I believe that progress will result from the invasion of Iraq? No. So you are a devoted apostle of Saddam, eh?? Well, he's still alive... And I'm sure you'd love to see the previous status quo put back into place... Complete with Special Republican Guards, Fedayeen, covert WMD R&D, and even more years of on-going economic and political sanctions against an entire country... Because the only alternative to a invasion of Iraq was a Saddam who was just as deceptive and intransigent as he had been before the war.. Take about a "vain" alternative..
