From an investment perspective there have been certain areas I've generally shied away from - in particular cancer vaccines (Rick's skepticism here has saved me from some real dogs), gene therapy and antisense. It's not that I think these areas are doomed - it's just that they have proven hard in the past and until we get some very clear evidence of success (like an approved drug) I'm prepared to let someone else get the first double or triple. I get a lot of ribbing here because I invest in so many different biotech stocks - but there are an awful lot more that I don't invest in. Peter
