I learned about the no caffiene rule on a white water rafting trip where I was the guide for one of the rafts.

I crawled out of my tent in the morning feeling great, asking "Where's the coffee?"

Of course there was none.

Within five minutes of launching the raft I had turned into Captain Ahab:

"Paddle you #**@#$#, paddle as if your lives depended on it or I'll flay the skin off your $%*)(#$ )*#$* #$##!!!!"
