I'm surprised that STX has had such a hard time primping the stock ahead of this offering. They have displayed their greatest talent thus far at knowing how to buy their shares cheap and sell them dear.

I notice that WDC's cyclical peaks are spaced pretty far apart: 1973 $10; 1980 $8; 1987 $15; and 1997 $55. bigcharts.marketwatch.com
It is now the seventh year. The next three years could be interesting.
