My reasons are always about learning as much as possible
about significant issues & events. I want to know the
facts, not the spin. I don't mind digging for the truth. I
prefer first hand accounts & will search them out to see
how subsequent iterations treat the subject.

For me, credibility is a very important attribute when it
comes to politicians & journalists. The less credible you
are, the less I believe anything you say.

And I am not inflexible about my politics or any
politician. As time & events unfold, I'm willing to change
my mind, rather than changing or ignoring certain facts &
revising history to fit an inflexible ideology.

So tell us, what are the reasons for your approach?
