It has been mentioned,in learned circles, that the GOP has been writhing in pain since FDR created the SS safety net. It would take a financial train wreck for the public to allow the abolition of all those social programs and those of LBJ.

Just like in PNAC, there is a plan to all this fiscal madness. Social Security will never recover if Bush and the GOP are given another four years of domination at the Fed level. That, is their intent!

The Bushie plan was to bankrupt SS and use that money to pay the rich. It's happening. If Bush gets re-elected it will happen. The greatest ever ripoff of the American working people. The big transfer of wealth to the trust fund babies. Amazing anyone falls for it. Just like their phony energy crisis, S+L deregulation and Iraq War. Many opf us have been suckered. But no more.
