Bob had posted that DJIA from QuoteMedia was very expensive. Maybe he can see if they can provide it only for the home page indexes.

As far as your personal stock list on the home page... I didn't know there was such a feature. This was something different from a regular portfolio?

I also didn't know there was a personal stock list showing there. I saw a "Portfolio" section in the source code but saw nothing on my homepage, so commented it out. I'll look at it next week to see if I can restore it.

As far as the market indices go, we're slowly weaning ourselves off of INSP's quotes and charts since they're no longer fixing any errors in their data and they haven't been showing the S&P500 for quite a while, which many users complained was even more important than DJIA.

We use Quotemedia as our quotes/charts supplier now, in the areas I've been able to change. Specifically, everywhere on iHub, the homepage on SI, and everywhere on the new version of SI (under development).

They tell me that Dow Jones is charging the end-user an exhorbitant rate for the DJIA quotes and is starting to aggressively go after providers to collect.
