Thank you Lizzie, For the link.. I did not read it very close, but I come from a family of conservationists rancher/timber people so I understand.. We have SO carefully, SO selectively logged, harvested our family ranch and forest land EVEN long before I was around.. In fact, we were just up, visiting, driving around, looking around, even cutting some dead dry buckskin tamarack for wood... And the habitat is SO GOOD.. I am so proud STILL to see no run off, NO erosion, etc. It can be done.. I KNOW, I understand this stuff.. I come from eastern Washington. I am so proud of MY people, I am a COUG, you know.. <g> You know Lizzie, we were never told what to do.. We JUST KNEW what to do.. I am not certain anybody can be told.. It just has to be FROM within, maybe... I don't know.. c
