Kb and Energyplay:

One thing that is almost never published is what was offered on a plea bargain and what was being asked. While I would defer to Kb on the subject of federal securities prosecution, I have represented more than a few folks in criminal matters and some in fed. court. I have seen folks indicted just to put pressure on them to testify against folks who were the actual target. Apparently, some prosecutors have forgotten the word "subpoena" and its uses.

If the public realized how much money gets pissed away at the federal court houses, they'd go bonkers.
