Re: I suspect we are moving into the 'no prisoners' stage of the Last Man Standing Death Match game.

And your first clue is? Or was?

Could it be even the completely lawless corporate whores are finally succumbing to Andrew Marshall's dictums?

gristmagazine.com

Holy Shit, what's next? George Bush gives up being the most profoundly stupid and illiterate leader on the planet and gets (out of) religion?

Now that would be a miracle.

Bush is more moronic than my washing machine. For him to get a clue would be a true miracle.

- You are brave, or I do not understand the situation

No Jay, I'm not and you're most likely very close :o) but as I said...

Every time I raise cash I go insane and buy something else... this can only end badly but I am powerless over the action :o)

I hope to be about 60% cash in short order.....my deadline is fast approaching.... my energy holdings do not concern me much as I believe a dip there will be too short lived to be a great concern, especially my two biggest trust holdings... AE.UN and BTE.UN...

a high cash level would surely benefit me and this is still my goal for the soon to be... if for no other reason than to be able to relax a bit as the volatility of these last few weeks is a little stressful :o)

Spots...

Hi Jay and Kastel - I' m seriously considering buying out of the money LEAP call options on PD, N, maybe BHP.

My way of playing the North America+Asia+Latin America boom, prosperity, and commodity base metal shortage.

Whish I had thought of this about 2 months ago. ;-)

Boom is also EEOE - Everyone Except Old Europe....

I think PD goes to 150 or better (86 today, + 1), Jan 2005 leaps are about $7.00, 2006 about $12-14....I would like a sharp drop in PD, but doesn't appear to be happening.....

*********

Other stock I have bough recently is SRP, Sierra Pacific Power. Nice smooth , low volitiliy chart....maybe 20-30% upside. Utility on Nevada which got screwed badly by Enron et al, now recovering (and getting some recovery from the court system)

***********

I would love to find some shorts to balance longs in PD etc., also get funds for buying options....
