If we got a down head fake off of a European rate cut, you might have about one or two days, and maybe even a half day to get the last great entry point on gold.

Yes it would be "fake" but very real in that it would be "logical" to most on the basis of a RISING US$ that surely would happen on that cut.

As soon as the market digested the news of competitive currency devaluations, gold could indeed go thru the roof.

Who knows?
Speculation on both our parts but we seem to be in general agreement on this.
