Lizzie, what's really important is that the Democrats simply not eck out a close election victory. The DEMs need to rally to the call of a member of Marvel Comic's Fantastic Four. The Fab Four sport a superhero called The Thing. When confronted with a villain threatening to reshape the world, The Thing yells out: "It's clobberin' time!"

For the sake of people everywhere, and in order to achieve a mandate to improve the nation, Democrats need to hand Republicans the most resounding defeat they've ever experienced in presidential politics.

The DEMs need to do to Bush what Nixon did to McGovern!

It's my opinion that that strong Nixon victory set the table for Republican domination in presidential politics and had a decades-long effect. What we need is a different spirit of politics to reshape the coming decades. We need to put GOPwingerism to bed for good!

"its obvious the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. This is the first time I have seen this in my life. " Same here. The other day I heard Tiffany's reported a sharp increase in profits - more high-end stuff is selling to those opportuning themselves of the Bush windfall for the rich. On a personal note, I have a friend who lost her medical coverage. She has cancer. Her doctor won't see her. Her treatments are limited, and she doesn't know what to do other than stand outside the Cancer Center with a sign proclaiming: "Will work for treatments". I'm trying to think of a way to help her. "There but for the grace of God go I".

The Pinnochio administration. Will anyone believe them on anything now? War, investigations, intelligence, economy, environment, health care, education? Bushies have lied about it all.
