I am an expert on John Kerry and his campaign and have taken part in a half dozen of his fundraisers. Each time I have had the opportunity to talk to JK and look him in the eye. I feel like I know him pretty well and am always very impressed by his warmth, depth and determination. I have sharp radar about people. He is the real thing. He's going all the way and it's not about ego, it's about serving his country. He feels destined. It's a very deep feeling with him. That gives him great confidence. He fully expects to win and it's no act. After the press wrote him off I think he's proven what he's got deep down inside (yes, including some money to put where his mouth is).
