Canada Geese come in all sizes. The Hutchy is about the size of a Mallard Duck and our local Canadas that stay all year are Branta Cantidenses Maxima or giant geese. I saw one that was shot and weighed at 21 pounds.

Herons. Never used to see them in this area. Now we have a rookery that has over 50 nests. Daym things eat the fish out of my water garden. I just ordered a thing that has an electronic eye and if a heron crosses it the garden hose gets turned on and sprays it.

We had an osprey show up at a little park in the city. Lived in the trees in a cemetary and ate coots from the park lake. Also a pair of Golden Eagles in the area last year. Bald Eagles? I know a guy who has 50 of them at a time he watches out of his window.
