well I wasn't complaining moenmac, because I understand the difference between one economic field getting destabilized in an otherwise robust economy, vs. what we have now which is an economy that cannot recover from an otherwise mild recession. Remember you all on that silly right wing extremist thread when that 7% GDP came out? You were practically writing W's acceptance speech! The country is broke and wage growth is negative. This is the first time we've seen it since the 30s.

OH- and btw, I almost forgot. You once said Calfornia was "dragging down" an otherwise booming economy thanks to Dubyanomics. Just to be clear, it will not be the west coast that brings down W. It will be the RUST BELT states of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

What "other fields" would you suggest, moenmac, that "tech people," such as MSEEs with experience anywhere from two to 25 years creating patented innovative technology for blue chip US corporations such as IBM, Motorola, MMM, GE of course, Allied Signal (Rummy's favorite millionaire-maker, the main beneficiary being HIM, HE HIMSELF) laid off by the tens of thousands "find other jobs?" You think they ought to "go back to school" to become nurses? Or LPNs? Highly trained to wipe the druel off your chin and change the diapers on your ridiculously silly ass in some substandard "nursing home" care that even you won't be able to pay for without Medicaid coverage when you become old and feeble?
