JF, I don't understand how you can be a true Christian and a neo-conservative at the same time.

It's tough to define the cross-section between politics and religion. Just two weeks ago, I had a couple of friends, both strong Christians, debate over whether government ought to be recognizing gay marriages. Both had valid points, and no matter which direction society takes, I'm sure none of our own faiths will be affected.

All I'll say is that I'm able to reconcile my Christianity and my "neo-conservative" beliefs, as you call them. But to be honest, the only time my political beliefs really matter is when I vote and when I talk politics. For example, how often do my political beliefs influence decisions that I make at work? Or in my own home? Or in how I practice my faith?
