An excellent reason why civilization needs a universal
decision making process of some form. With meteors of various sizes raining down each day, and solid proof of major past collisions such as Tunguska and Meteor crater Az.
We will get hit some day, unless science can provide an answer.
Praying to the various Gods envisioned by humans during the millions of years of human history did not prevent the past collisions. Even if they did prevent some, we are looking at the events that did get manage to get through that shield.
The answer to concerted action lies in education which creates awareness.And that is being stymied by many Arab leaders who control their schools, their Press and TV coverage.
Our actions in Iraq have brought to light the vileness of Saddam and his regime, and Iraqis are now aware of what happened to their missing relatives.And where their share of oil wealth was going.
