Viet Nam must have been absolute hell in terms of battle conditions. I'll never forget reading the Life magazine story about the My Lai massacre, seeing the photo of the naked girl burned by napalm running toward the camera.

I made a promise when I watched the baby lift that I'd adopt an orphan when I was able. My Korean daughter just turned twenty-one.

I respect the people who fought that ugly war. All of them.
And to see that some of them don't respect each other is heartbreaking.

I'm ignoring your twisting of the story, DMA. Kerry's been far kinder to his fellow vets over the past twenty years than I've seen his "brothers" here be to him.
