Well, if I were a Mass. resident I would look around at my high state and local taxes, my rundown cities and ask WHAT have they done for me? jdn

I understand completely. Same here. People are born Democrats. You are taught at a young age to always vote for the Democrat, no matter what.

In Washington State, we have not had a Republican Governor in 20 years. Unlike California, we have not had to raise taxes and fees to keep the budget balanced. Of course, we have no income tax. We are a high tech state. Besides Micro Soft, we have a booming biotech research center.
