Well, if I were a Mass. resident I would look around at my high state and local taxes, my rundown cities and ask WHAT have they done for me? jdn

People are born Democrats. You are taught at a young age to always vote for the Democrat, no matter what.

In Washington State, we have not had a Republican Governor in 20 years. Unlike California, we have not had to raise taxes and fees to keep the budget balanced. Of course, we have no income tax. We are a high tech state. Besides Micro Soft, we have a booming biotech research center.

i used to work the voting places at six years old. handing brief lets.. it was exciting. if you wanted something done in the city you called your local councilman. etc etc. didn't know about republicans until goldwater,(voted for him , and saw soc sec coming out of my check when i made $55. a week. g
