Re: Akin to Fonar

TELE,

There are plenty of co.s that have CONTROLLING voting shares held by families or the original starter to a co.

A person starts up a co. with an idea or invention . He puts in the original funds that starts this co. He puts in ALL the hours to build this co. . He takes all the chances .

So he goes to the street and sells a MINORITY ownership in the co. to the street to continue its growth . States that HE STILL WILL CONTINUE to hold CONTROL of HIS CO. WITH CONTROLLING VOTING SHARES.

After some folks buy some of these shares they feel they should have more say in how the co. is run . Remember these folks are ONLY PASSIVE investors in this co. Not doing any of the work needed to build the business .

Tele there are plenty of co.s that do NOT have these controlling shares on the market today . THose are the ones folks like yourself should be invested in .

Co.s like Comcast and Fonar with the controlling voting shares are IMO are for folks who want to invest in co.s where the original owner or Family wants to continue to control HIS business .

THere are some folks who love to invest with Families who CONTROLL their businesses . THose families continue to become richer and the investors that invest with them usually grow with them .

So IF a co. shows CONTROLLING VOTING SHARES and you do NOT like investing in that type business DO NOT . But do NOT try to change all the rules for everyone else . There are some of us who like investing in those type co.s that are run by some of the most successful families in the country.
