[Cut: list of veterans' anti-kerry websites} Sounds to me like UW was speaking of his own personal experience and contacts with vets, not citing any articles in the press - that is, none of the vets he knows support Kerry. That is not a "blatantly false" picture. Apparently UW does not believe everything he reads in the paper, particularly in regard to Kerry and the Vietnam War, preferring to trust his own experiences, knowledge and contacts. Can't say that I blame him.
