Looks like just the "C" of a Wave 2 like the rest of the market unless it breaks the highs of 2000. It may be of interest that the largest sector weighting in the $RUT is financials and this explains some of the strength.
There was discussion earlier in the week again about impulses and debate on whether we have wave 3 or "C" in many charts. I am certainly in the camp that there is no way to really tell until after the fact although sentinment and market breadth would be the two things that may make the case that this is a "C" wave and not a 3 of (1) of a new bull.
The $RUT and $SOX are the charts that I am keying off of here and downside volume is indicating to me that a breakdown may be coming. If the $RUT is coiling than 127-130 may be in the cards.
