Thanks. As you note those who spoke out about the Nazi threat before they came to power ...were in almost every case murdered if they did not escape the country. The article Thomas M posted describes a very different environment - as noted from Thomas M's article: MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) said in response... Meretz MK Avshalom Vilan also condemned Boim's statements.. MK Ophir Pines-Paz (Labor) called for Boim's resignation.. Meimad leader MK Rabbi Michael Melchior slammed the statements as racist .. Those who deplore racism and bigotry could find much more of it in the ME on the other side of the conflict if that's what they were concerned about.
