Maybe we should ask which veterans support Kerry. Are they those who committed or permitted war atrocities and who now seek forgiveness? Are they those who looked away while they were being committed? Are they those who awarded bronze and silver stars to those who committed them?

Or, are they good, honest, decent guys who were wrongfully lumped in with the above by the '70's slanderous and libelous anti-war testimony, speeches, and protest (by Fonda, Kerry, and others), who were belittled for decades, and who might feel that the only way their lives, honor, and reputation can be redeemed is to glom onto the coattails of a demogogue who admits that he engaged in the very behavior (killing innocent civilians) that earned society's scorn, yet somehow earned him combat medals?
