Lol, only the true believers argue that.

Cuba has had a patron for almost its entire existance, first Spain, then the U.S. (under which it enjoyed the highest per capita income of any caribbean nation), then Russia until it couldn't afford it anymore ... now it needs a new patron.

Will be nice when the U.S. is its patron again, great beaches I hear, and the world's largest collection of classic cars.
