Sounds like it. But again, I do think that people need (for various reasons or to facilitate an agenda) to remain in denial about certain things, and if to do that they have to attack the messenger, they will. Even if the messenger knows whereof he speaks, and is a war hero and patriot, and the subject is the war in which he served, and his testimony is under oath before the Senate, and is in his opinion in the interest of his country, and cites the testimony of many other heroes of that war, testimony also taken under oath.
