1) No personal insults! That's from your thread header, and yet you just kicked Poet off with a personal insult. I've looked at her posts and can't find anything even in the ballpark of the very insulting posts you find quite acceptable when made by others. At least that's the impression I get. Has Poet done something so egregious that you feel it warranted a personal insult and banning? Has she had her one warning and week's suspension? Have I violated the thread header? I want to be careful, and hope you will tell me when my official warnings are given. Have any of the chastisements, such as for the word "silly," constituted a "warning"? I haven't yet been suspended for any post, so I guess I'm safe for a while.

I think you do need to tamp down the "pinko" rhetoric- if you really mean what you say in the header to this thread. You probably need to watch the "HanoiJohn" stuff as well- I don't think you allow insults of Bush- plus it violates the "no six year olds" clause, imo, of course.

I won't post here again until I see another post made by poet. If I don't see another post made by him/her in the next few days I will remove my bookmark of this board and forget about it. I'm not making this post because I think you care if I post here I'm just doing it because I hate censorship of people who don't deserve it. I hope others feel the same way.

Now this is a VERY unusual situation here, Bill- -I'm siding with E, X, Poet and zonkie. And as I said to you long ago, you can been me till H**** freezes over any time you want. But any pretense of evenhanded moderation here is just that- -pretense. Where is the post with her warning? Care to produce it? Where is the post with her suspension? Care to produce it? And, as X said, if there's a 6-year-old around here, it's you, not Poet. I'm joining zonkie. I won't be back until Poet posts again. I'm sure Poet will be kind enough to notify all of us if she's unbanned. Bye bye.

Well, I guess I'll depart too, though I was waiting to hear first an explanation from you for skipping the official warning in Poet's case, and the 1 week suspension stage -- and for the personal insult. I recall your welcoming her to your thread, I believe. I understand that you did PM Poet to complain about her having noted an error in grammar that seemed funny to her. Was that PM what you considered the warning, and the grammar remark itself the rules-violation? I think that taking note of grammar or spelling errors isn't a good idea myself. But if it actually rises to the level of a warning-worthy infraction, unlike "you are spouting horseshit... as usual," maybe you had better add it to your thread header rules.
